Having owned and operated gyms across Manhattan for years has given me the background to stand out from the rest.   My depth and breadth of experience include one on one training as well as creating highly successful and impactful small group and corporate events.

About Me

My name is Roberta Bergman and I’ve dedicated my life to helping others be fit, healthy and happy!

With an emphasis in strengthening the back and core to prevent neck and back pain, my approach to clients of all ages is to prioritize and protect those key areas of the body. It is my belief that if those areas weaken, the strength of the whole body is at risk. Hence, keeping the neck and back strong and flexible is imperative to total body fitness.

My credentials include:  M.S. in Dance/Movement Therapy, ACE Certified Group Exercise Instructor, Personal Trainer, ACE Certified; back/neck pain, posture, stress exercise; Faculty Consultant, American Back Society; Choreographer/Artist of featured fitness videos; Public Speaker, Healthy Life Styles and Healthy Backs; Founder, Bodyformula Speakers Bureau, and Aqua Instructor.

PERSONAL TRAINING:

(In person & digital; individual & group classes)

With thirty plus years of providing fitness training to people from ages five to ninety five, my depth of knowledge and experience is what makes my fitness coaching unique and exceptional.  My training approach incorporates strength training, cardio, and stretching, as well as nutritional guidance and meditative strategies, two aspects that can help to reduce daily stress. My training and coaching services can be provided at a client’s residence, in my own studio, at a local pool or via text/email (digital) after a series of two face-to-face sessions to establish a personalized fitness regimen.

COOKING CLASSES:

As an option, I offer on-site cooking classes after individual or group workout classes at my studio!  Once a nutritional meal is selected ahead of time, clients and I can prepare a nutritious meal to enjoy after their rigorous workout. 

WATER EXERCISE:

I’ve been teaching water aerobics at area pools for years and adults of all ages, and kids, love them!  Please email me if you’d like to sign up for a free class to give it a try.
